TerraNova

TerraNova is what you make of it. This city has room for every kind of player: people who want to build legitimate lives, those who prefer to operate in the shadows, and everyone in between. We're not a hardcore server. We're not a server where veterans talk down to new players. We're a community that actually wants you here.

Every player starts the same, with $35,000 split between cash and bank, stepping off a plane at the airport with the whole city ahead of you. Nova, the city's guide, meets you there. What you do next is your choice.

New to FiveM?
FiveM is a free multiplayer mod for GTA V that lets you join custom servers like TerraNova, each with their own jobs, scripts, and world. Think of it like GTA Online, except the world is built and run by real people, and the experience is completely different from server to server.

TerraNova is fun-first. There's no pressure to play a certain way. Come in and cruise, grind money, run jobs with friends, cause some chaos, or just hang out. Some people like to build out a character and story, and that's welcome, but you never have to. Play how you want.
Already know FiveM? Skip ahead to First Steps, you're good.
Joining TerraNova
1
You need GTA V
Any version works: Steam, Epic Games, or the Rockstar Games Launcher. FiveM works with all of them.
2
Download FiveM
Go to fivem.net and download the client. It installs alongside GTA V and won't touch your story mode or GTA Online. Launch FiveM and let it find your GTA V installation automatically.
3
Get Invited
TerraNova is invite only. Whoever brought you in will add you to our Discord, which is where announcements, the community and staff all live.
4
Connect to the Server
In FiveM, press F8 to open the console and type connect 50.21.181.161:30120, or hit Connect in the Join popup on our homepage. First connection takes a few minutes to download our custom content.
5
Create Your Character
You'll be taken through a character creation screen when you first join. Choose your appearance and name, then pick your bank. Take your time. Once you're in, you land at the airport with a phone, a city map, and a starting balance split between cash and your bank account. Nova meets you as you arrive and walks you through your first few minutes.
Stuck or confused? Ask Nova. Open your radial menu and summon her, or type /nova anywhere in the city. You can also drop a message in our Discord. The community and staff are genuinely friendly. There are no dumb questions here.

Get Set Up

Now that you know how to move, let's get you equipped. These are the first places you should go.

1
City Hall: Your First Stop
Head to City Hall (Terranova City Services) for your ID, driver license, a job, and a weapon license ($1,500). The job opens up legal income. The license lets you buy firearms at Ammu-Nation. Police can take it off you if you misuse it.
2
Ammu-Nation: Get Armed
With a license, you can buy weapons here. Even if you plan to go legit, having a sidearm for self-defense is wise. Check the map for locations.
3
Hardware Store: Tools
Lockpicks, essential tools, and other items you'll need. Legal or not, you'll end up needing something from here.
4
Get a Place to Live
You start with a free apartment at The Richman. When you're ready to upgrade, open the Real Estate app on your tablet to browse apartments and houses for sale. Owning a home gives you a private stash spot, a place to respawn, and somewhere to log out safely. It's worth doing early.
5
Use the Bank
Your bank account is already set up when you spawn in. Your starting balance is split between cash (on your person) and bank (safe). Use any ATM to deposit cash. ATMs show on your map and are all over the city. Don't walk around with a lot of cash on you.
Need food? Use the TerraNova Eats app on your phone and get food delivered wherever you are.

Initiation cannot be started at either of these locations. You cannot pull someone into a conflict here if one didn't already exist.

Carry-over applies. If a situation was already in progress before you got there (say you got shot and were taken to the hospital mid-scene), that conflict doesn't get a hard stop just because you crossed into a safe zone. The scene can continue. Safe zones protect you from being targeted out of nowhere, not from consequences you were already in the middle of.

The Drug Trade
TerraNova has a full drug operation with more than a dozen products: Grow, cook, process and distribute. There's also a way to wash your money. This rabbit hole goes deep. Start small, learn the chain, don't get caught.
